Why have one business card when you can have three?
When you walk into a crowded room full of potential customers, you can’t address them all in the same way. Everyone is different and each conversation you have would be different.

It would be like having one sales pitch and only ever using that one even if it was completely irrelevant to the person you’re talking to.
Don’t do it.
There should be three versions of your business card.
- The 2 sided card.
This is the one you use when there’s some synergy and you want to swap details.
Give them a card that says:
- Who you are
- What you do
- How to contact you
- The 4 sided card.
This card gives a little bit more, and one to be used when you’ve had a good conversation that you want to make a note of and want to make sure that you do get their details.
- Who you are
- What you do
- How to contact you
- A section to collect their details
- A section to make notes about your conversation
- The 6 sided card
This card is the one to give to someone you consider to have strong potential but feel they need a bit more information about you, and perhaps a slight nudge to meet you/buy from you.
Below there are some templates for each of these cards that will also allow you to have a go at designing your own with our guidance.
